Session One:
We will look at an overview of the career transition process, and begin work on a few self-assessment exercises. This will help us understand our skills and interests, workplace values and which activities we enjoy most from our work and non-work. As a result, we will generate more ideas on possible occupations and work roles.

Session Two:
After reviewing the homework of gathering easy-to-find information on your top priority occupational choices, we will compare the pluses and minuses of each alternative. That will be followed with a procedure to weigh the choices, for more certainty as to which one or two are best. To finish, we will begin to develop a summary statement on the most important things we can offer employers for the type of job(s) we are aiming for. This will be helpful for your resume, job interviews and all job search communications. Included will be tips on concrete steps to start the job search.

Limited to 8 participants. Participants must attend both sessions.

Session 1 | Friday, March 9th | 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM
Session 2 | Friday, March 16th | 11:30 AM -1:30 PM

Both sessions will be facilitated by Dave Buck
FEE: $45.00 (for both sessions)
